Bravo Awards Gala 2017

Last night my brother, his wife, Brody and I attended the 12th annual Bravo Awards Gala.  Bravo Greater Des Moines supports the arts and entertainment in Des Moines, Iowa. The mission of Bravo Greater Des Moines is to provide reliable funding and support that strengthens arts, culture and heritage organizations serving Greater Des Moines.  You can find out more about the organization here www.bravogreaterdesmoines.com

This was my first time attending the event and I have to say I was blown away.  Each detail of the event was planned out perfect.  From the decorations to the amazing food, the signature drinks, the speeches and honorees, and of course the spectacular band Ken Arlen Evolution Orchestra who kept the dance floor going all night.  We had a blast getting all dolled up and dancing the night away.  I loved seeing all the local businesses supporting the arts and entertainment in Des Moines and especially seeing everyone let their hair down and just have a good time.

My first experience attending Bravo met all my expectations and more. This will definitely be an event I plan to attend annually.  Thank you Bravo for putting on such a memorable event.  Below are a few pictures from the night.  Cheers to turning 40 and all the firsts!
